Never underestimate the value of a good old coffee shop. It’s sophomore year for many of us, and the familiar routines of freshman year have us longing for change in more than just where to get dinner on campus. UPenn has the advantage of being situated in a city, thus the availability of coffee shops is rather impressive (comparatively speaking). It’s hard to break routine once we’ve grown accustomed to it, especially when we’ve scoured out the best places on campus to study and get a coffee at any hour of the day. Though not exhaustive, the subsequent list can make the following promises: good location, good coffee, and good Wi-Fi.

1. Capogiro.

Advantage: Gelato

2. Saxby's

Advantage: Serves lunch.

3. Hub Bub

Advantage: Always somewhere to sit.

4. Starbucks (Under Commons, 34th Street, Bookstore)

Advantage: Accepts Dining Dollars

5. Metropolitan Bakery.

Advantage: Less crowded than other on campus coffee stores.
