Hey, beauties! If you're stuck in a rut of beauty tutorials or beauty gurus, I have compiled a list of fresh faces that you need to watch. For me, there will be no queen other than Jaclyn Hill: she is the queen of the beauty community. However, there are other experts that bring their own craft, passion and ideas to the beauty side of YouTube.

1. Young Wild and Polished

Meet Nicole Young. So beautiful. Her channel has grown to over 140,000 subscribers. She's an incredible, genuine soul; she lays her complete, honest opinion out on the line. Can we also talk about how hard she rocks red lips? Her personality thrives on YouTube . Her "Idgaf" attitude is a nice refreshing change from the typical beauty guru. Her GRWM (Get Ready With Me) videos will surely put a smile on your face. She's just a normal woman sharing her love of makeup. Check her out, you won't be disappointed. Be warned: once you start, you won't be able to stop.

2. Glam and Gore

Hey, Mykie, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind. Hey, Mykie.

This is Mykie from Glam&Gore. Not only does Mykie slay the glam world, she also lights the special effect makeup world on fire. Mykie has recently surpassed one million subscribers, which is a big milestone for any YouTuber. She has basic tutorials: winged liner, how to make false lashes more comfy, etc. She also has more advanced tutorials such as Pop Art Zombaes. She's won the NYX Face Awards, so you know she knows what she's doing. Check her out and join Team Zombae today!

3. Vintage or Tacky

This is Cora. Her tutorials will get your creative juices following. Her looks make a statement, which is why they always catch my attention. Cora doesn't do the usual "smokey eye and red lip" (although she does have some more 'classic' tutorials), she tackles costume makeup. Her steady hand is nothing less than impressive. Her style works for her entirely. She clocks in just under 400,000 followers, so help her reach 400,000 and subscribe!

4. Drac Makens

Drac is my current obsession. I stumbled upon her channel during a late night binge-a-thon and I can't stop watching her videos. Makeup is supposed to be a creative outlet, and Drac (real name Bianca) uses it for just that. Although I am not goth, I still appreciate the creativity and originality of her looks. Even if you never recreate one of her looks, I think she's still worth checking out because she is so incredibly talented.

5. Batalash Beauty

This native Canadian is taking the beauty community by storm. Her personality, talent and beauty is a deadly combination. Her name is Samantha and she is the mastermind behind Batalash Beauty. She keeps things so real (like talking about her lip injections), which is something so refreshing in the beauty community. Her videos range from colorful (above), to natural and nearly everything in between. Her subscriber count is just above 600,000. Get her to one million, subscribe.

Follow her on Instagram and YouTube

Check out these beautiful ladies and show them some love, because the beauty community can be so cut throat. These ladies worked hard to be where they are, and they continue to grow. I've been watching many of these beauties since day one, and it's been so incredible watching their channels grow, their skills sharpen and their success skyrocket. I can't wait to see where these ladies go.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
