During the warm summer months one of the best ways to get out, enjoy the weather, and explore your state is to get on your bike. Ohio is home to many beautiful bike trails and paths that you can adventure on.
Little Miami Scenic Trail
This 78 mile path is not only beautiful and well shaded but also takes you past 2 state parks on your journey. It is the third longest paved trail in the United States, passes through 5 counties and the trailheads are Springfield and Newtown, Ohio.
Kokosing Gap Trail
This paved 14 mile trail lies where a Pennsylvania railroad formally was. The path showcases bridges more than 250 feet long, with forests, wetlands, along with villages which have water fountains and restrooms available along the way.
Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail
Ten feet wide and 10 miles long, this trail has 6 parking areas, 4 restrooms and even a picnic area every mile. It is a wonderful family place for a ride or walk through the land with places to stop and eat too.
Olentangy River Greenway
Picking up at the end of the Scioto Greenway Trail, this 13 mile path goes north through parks and the Ohio State University.
Heritage Rail Trail
From Hilliard to Plain City, this seven mile trail takes you on a historic journey, featuring "Old Hilliard" and a public park called The Homestead.
