When a lot of college students get out of school for the summer or families plan their summer vacation it usually involves wanting to plan a trip to the beach. There are a number of beaches all over the United States, but with research I have gathered the 5 best beaches to visit during your summer travels in 2017.

1. Siesta Beach in Sarasota, Florida

This Florida beach has been named the best beach in the United States, and from personal experiences it is no shocker because of the absolutely stunning water, and beautiful white sand. If you end up traveling to Florida this summer this is definitely the beach you want to stop at and enjoy all the perks it has to offer.

2. Clearwater Beach, Florida

You get it from the name this beach has some of the clearest and most beautiful ocean waters in the USA. Everything you could possibly need is in walking distance like the endless shopping centers, waterfront hotels, and to-die for restaurants all in your reach which makes it a hit destination for family vacations.

3. Ka’anapali Beach, Hawaii

This beach was on multiple lists that I came across on my research and I can see why just by looking at pictures of this extraordinary beach. This beach is located on Maui with its soft, white sands, and crystal clear blue water this is a must go to if you ever travel to Hawaii. It was once named the United States best beach, and definitely does not seem like it would disappoint by the countless pictures, and articles I have read over this beautiful beach.

4. St. Pete Beach, Florida

Next on this list is another Florida beach, but I could not leave this one off the list with its ability to please every individual of any age. Just down the coast from Clearwater Beach it still has the beautiful sand, and clear water. As well as the historic part of the area tied in with unlimited entertainment make it a destination worth seeing.

5. Coronado Beach, San Diego, California

This last beach that I am going to share with you for your list is one of the top beaches in California for your summer 2017.Individuals love to surf here and it is often said that celebrities show up at this beach so who knows you might run into your idol (probably not, but you will still enjoy your time no matter what).

There are so many more beaches, but based on my research if you decide to go with any of these beaches you will not be disappointed.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

In the 12 years since it went off the air, "Friends" continues to be adored by millions. 11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
