Who doesn’t love a fairy tale? Ella Enchanted is a light-hearted story about the retelling of Cinderella. Ella has been “gifted” (more like cursed) with the obedience, for she must obey any command given to her no matter what. 4. Hidden Figures
Three female NASA employees- Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson- are the untold masterminds behind sending John Glenn into space. Not only did that prove the world wrong, but they made a permanent imprint on our history.

5. 13 Reasons Why
The book/show follows the story of Hannah Baker- a teenage girl who committed suicide. Hannah has left 13 tapes dedicated to different students at her school that explains their part in her decision in ending her life. Clay, the boy who secretly has a crush on her, receives the box of tapes and has to figure out how he contributed to her suicide and the part the 12 other students played as well.
