It's officially October which means as the weather cools down (even if it's only by 1 degree), the boots come out, we cover up with fuzzy blankets, and pumpkin spice lattes are in hand. Every year, millions of Americans scramble to Starbucks for their first taste of the PSL, signifying the unofficial start of fall. In 2015, Americans spent around $500 million on pumpkin spice products, according to Forbes.

Even though the PSL is the most popular fall drink, there are so many more flavors and themes to try! Save money by making your own autumn-themed drinks! Here are some of my favorite recipes:

Dark and Stormy in the Pumpkin Patch

A traditional Dark and Stormy is delicious on its own, but when you add a twist of orange juice and spoonful of pumpkin butter it becomes absolutely irresistible!

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
