Finals week is tough, y'all - none of us can deny it. Whether we've kept up with our classes all semester or haven't cracked a textbook since we bought them, it's time to get our sh*t together. Here are 5 must-have apps to help you study and keep you sane during finals week:

1. Quizlet

Well, this one may seem like a no-brainer if you've ever done school before. Instead of carrying around stacks on stacks (lol) of flashcards, download quizlet to your phone to access them all (for free) on-the-go. At a frat party? No biggie. Whip that phone out of your fanny pack and take a shot - or if we're promoting responsibility here, a sip - for every right answer you get!

2. Google Drive

This is a great app to get when you're trying to study on the go. You can access it from your phone or computer and edit documents like study guides from both. Open this app at dinner (is that rude?), while jogging on the treadmill, or wherever you feel like you can get a little bit of studying in.

3. Evernote

This app is a similar concept to using Google Drive but it's a separate notetaking app in itself where you can take notes directly in the app on your computer and access them anywhere. It also has a great feature where if you have a tablet you can handwrite notes in it!

4. Microsoft OneNote

This is the bomb. I've used OneNote since high school, and again, similar to Google Drive and Evernote, your notes sync up between your devices. This app is unique in the sense that you have actual digital "notebooks" that have sections and pages that you can search. You can also handwrite notes in here with that trusty ThinkPad that you probably never use!

5. GrubHub/Takeout Central

We all need a study break, and what better way to spend that time than stress-eating and feeding our brains? Both Grubhub and Takeout Central will deliver food right to you, any building on campus - and trust me, it's a nice break from the Pit.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
