So let me tell you, when I first moved to Morgantown, I was discouraged to find that the main stores in the mall were limited to Pac Sun, Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. Don't get me wrong, some amazing pieces can be found in those stores, but a trip to Pittsburgh every time I want to venture beyond those stores is not reasonable. And yes, online shopping is great, but sometimes the experience of fiddling through racks and stepping into the fitting room is what we want. After doing some searching, I found five absolutely amazing stores that I HAD to share with my Morgantown family.

1. Figleaf Boutique

First opened in Athens, Ohio, Figleaf is now located at five different locations and Morgantown is lucky enough to be one of them. Located on High Street, Morgantown's most prominent street for night life, good food and small business, Figleaf is undoubtedly one of the cutest stores you will step foot in. You can find different styles for a multitude of different occasions. Although I don't participate in the High Street scene in Morgantown very often, I like to look laid back, yet chic and stylish. Figleaf is definitely one of my go-tos when trying to accomplish that look.

2. Lavish Boutique

Located in the Morgantown Mall across from Elder Beerman, Lavish Boutique is sells a wide variety of fashions that will accommodate a number of events. This store has a very active "Lavish Social Feed" that allows their customers to stay hip to the latest styles and fashions that Lavish provides!

3. Park & Madison Boutique

Park & Madison is a chic boutique located at the Sincerest Towne Centre here in Morgantown! Their website absolutely speaks for itself and their outstanding customer service will undoubtedly draw you in a second, probably tenth time!

4. Coni and Franc

Coni and Franc holds a special place in my heart; I bought my first homecoming dress here! Located at the center of High Street, this charming store is filled with friendly, helpful employees tending to your every fashion need.

5. Altered Ego Boutique

Altered Ego provides an escape to a hollywood-esque boutique! The store offers at-home styling, private shopping parties and styling consultations! With impeccable customer service and the latest trends and fashions, this store is absolutely and undoubtedly a must-visit!

Clothes are purposed for far more than mere utilization. The colors and fabrics drape our bodies allowing for the expression that sometimes we cannot articulate out of our own mouths. Trends come and go, but our style is as unique as our own fingerprint. These stores will cater to your unique styles and keep you feeling amazing!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
