Last Sunday, the New England Patriots lost to the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore by a score of 20-37. This marked the first loss for New England and, by default, meant that the San Francisco 49ers are now the only undefeated team in the NFL at this time. Honestly, who would've guessed this?

Last season, the 49ers finished second to last in their division, had a 4-4 home record, and 0-8 away record. This complete 180 turnaround for this team is incredible, and I mean that as an understatement. Their current record at 8-0 gives them the NFL record for the worst season of any team that started undefeated in the following season, which basically means that as a team the 49ers have had the biggest turnaround than any team even in the history of the NFL.

Even after a scare in Arizona a few days ago, the Niners still pulled out a win, snapping an 8 game losing streak to the Arizona Cardinals in their stadium. If anything, that calls for a celebration for the Niners.

In my personal opinion, the Niners owe a lot to their coaching staff. Coach Shanahan has stuck with these guys through some of the worst seasons anyone has seen from San Francisco in the last decade, on top of that their offensive and defensive coaches and coordinators have done a great job in getting the Niners to play really tight-knit like a family on the field and have given them their full support, especially hats off to defensive head coach, Robert Salah, for helping coach this defense to be top in the nation and getting them fired up every game.

As us now we are at the halfway mark of the season and we have 8 more games to go. The 49ers season started off playing good teams and they'll only be challenged more so as they have to go through Seattle, Green Bay, Baltimore, New Orleans, and Atlanta, and replay Arizona and Los Angeles again.

For all Niner fans out there we hope to see them continue their success this season and hope for a playoff birth.
