43 Pet Peeves We Can All Agree On

Everyone has their own little pet peeves--some weirder than others. There are many things that other humans do that make us cringe or clench our fists because they're so aggravating. Here are some pet peeves of mine that I think most of us can agree are really annoying.

1. When people don't know the difference between "your", "you're", "there", "their", and "they're".

2. When you're wearing flip flops and someone steps on your heel or feet.

3. When people tap on your shoulder instead of saying your name.

4. When people say "defiantly" instead of "definitely".

5. When someone uploads the same picture as you within the hour that you posted it.

6. When people don't use their blinker.

7. When people don't know the rules of the road at all.

8. When people don't close the shower curtain after using the shower.

9. When people don't shut the toilet seat.

10. People who can't eat quietly.

11. Or people who don't chew gum properly.

12. That kid who doesn't go to class and asks to borrow your notes.

13. When people have the volume up on their phone, and the keyboard clicks on.

14. SLOW WALKERS.

15. SLOW DRIVERS.

16. When the person who last used the toilet paper doesn't refill the roll.

17. People who don't clean up their dog's poop.

18. When people use their phone while placing an order at a counter.

19. When a movie has loud music but a quiet dialogue.

20. When someone talks during a movie,

21. When someone ruins the ending to a movie.

22. When you're watching a movie you've never seen before with someone who has and they say, "oh this is a good part!"

23. Hipsters.

24. When someone tries to board the elevator when people are still exiting it.

25. Tangled earbuds.

26. When someone's child is crying in a public place, and THEY AREN'T DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

27. People who text in movie theaters.

28. PDA between two preteens.

29. People who click their pens, especially during an exam.

30. When someone has dirty dishes lying out, even when they knew they were expecting company.

31. When people don't shut the lights off after leaving a room, even though it's very bright out and natural light can illuminate the room.

32. When people leave the TV on.

33. When things aren't straight.

34. When someone interrupts you when you're talking.

35. Or when someone tries to finish your sentence, but it's not what you were going to say...and then they keep trying and they're STILL WRONG.

36. When people don't respond to important emails.

37. When people budge you in line, or cut you off when you're walking.

38. When you miss a spot shaving.

39. When you rip off toilet paper or a paper towel and there's still a little piece left dangling.

40. When someone doesn't say excuse me.

41. Uneven numbers (like the radio volume).

42. When you're sharing chips with someone and they lick their fingers before dipping their hand back in the bag.

43. Double dippers.

So even though some of these may not apply to you, you have to admit most of them do. Please stop doing these things. Please.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
