40 Thoughts Fans Have While Watching A Cowboys Game
Tom Pennington

Although they are having a good season, watching the Dallas Cowboys play a game can be one of the most stressful parts of any Sunday. You never know what to expect and no matter how much faith you have in the team, it’s going to be a long ride. It’s a thrilling, yet sometimes completely heartbreaking moment and for those three hours you reach every emotion possible.

1.

1. Game day.

You wake up knowing it’s game day and you feel super excited. You know that you’ll watch the game and you know just what that’ll entail. It’s a great feeling from the start.

2. Game time.

Oh, the excitement is real. Game time. Let’s go boys. You’re pumped. You’re so pumped you’d think you were on that field with them. You can feel the adrenaline in your veins.

3. Dak completes a good pass.

4. YES! Atta boy Dak! Just like that. Let’s go, we can do this.

5. ZEKE!

6. Now it’s time for Zeke to take that ball down the field. Yes, run. I don’t care how you do it, just get it done. Now.

7. Unnecessary penalties.

Why are you even getting a holding call on the big plays? You do realize that you are losing the game for yourself, right? It's not that hard to play and not get penalties constantly, right?

8. WHAT THE HELL. No. Stop. This is literally how you lose every single time. What are you doing?

9. When Dez Bryant (or anyone for that matter) drops a crucial pass.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING! CATCH THE BALL!

10. WHY ARE YOU ON THE FIELD RIGHT NOW. WE NEED TO CATCH THEM.

11. TOUCHDOWN COWBOYS.

12. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. HOW ‘BOUT THEM COWBOYS.

13. Run the ball yourself already Dak.

14. Stop playing zone defense, it NEVER works.

15. Why are we not running the ball?

16. Why was that play called?

17. Oh, yes just like that boys!

18. Great job defense!

19. I can’t watch this.

20. I literally don’t know what they are doing.

21. What are you doing!

22. RUN THE DAMN BALL

23. WHAT KIND OF CATCH IS THAT!

24. They’re seriously self-destructing and losing this game.

25. Omg, no.

26. Yes Dak, Yes.

27. ZEEEKE.

28. There’s Bease.

29. WIIIIIT.

30. LEE ON THAT TACKLE.

31. Run out the clock and stop giving them chances.

32. This game would be ours if you stopped making stupid plays.

33. YES. That was beautiful.

34. WHAT WAS THAT!

35. COWBOYS! TOUCHDOWN BABY!

36. Mr. Automatic does it again.

37. Dak Attack is on fire today.

38. My heart really can’t handle these games.

39. I swear, they like to give me heart attacks all the time.

40. YES BOYS YES.

No matter what goes through the mind of a Cowboys fan during a game, when game time comes you know you’ll always be there to cheer on America’s team. They might give #Cowboysnation a heart attack each week, but win or lose, you’ll be there to support the boys. Let’s go Cowboys!

two women enjoying confetti

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
