Football season is officially in full swing. All SEC fans spent this last Saturday glued to their TV, in great anticipation of their favorite time of the year. Auburn fans, having been through the ringer lately, and not even being ranked in the top 25 coming into this season, adding a little insult to injury, were hopeful but not very optimistic. Despite that, we love our team and we genuinely don't even know the definition of a "Fair Weather Fan" because we're fans in every storm.

The Auburn v. Clemson game was played in true Auburn fashion. Full of mix-ups, mash-ups, and last minute [almost] glory. But that's just why we love Auburn.

Here are some thoughts that I'm pretty sure most, if not all, Auburn fans had while watching the Clemson game.

1. Ah, that jumbotron is just as big as I remember it being.

2. Thank God it's a night game, or I'd be dying of a heat stroke.

3. Oh no... Spirit is flying around the field? I hope she doesn't hit any glass this time around.

4. Okay, I'm sorry, but Aubie is just the cutest mascot in the history of college football.

5. We did a dang good job wearing orange.

6. That hype video definitely did its job.

7. "'STRIKE UP THE BAND' YAS."

8. Alright guys, let's do this!

9. Oh my dear those speakers are WAY too loud.

10. Wait, I thought Sean White was our QB?

11. Why do we keep putting Johnson in?

12. End of first and no one has scored, so I'm not panicking... yet.

13. Three points is better than no points.

14. It was only a matter of time until they scored.

15. But our defense though! They're doing alright.

16. Our offense... well...

17. Aubie, quit being so cute and distracting me from the game.

18. WAR EAGLE!

19. Their mascot is kind of scary looking, to be 100% honest.

20. It's probably because I'm biased and love Aubie so much.

21. Alright, so they scored again.

22. I'm starting to feel like this is last year all over again.

23. And we got another field goal...We can still come back from this!

24. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, REF? IN WHAT WORLD WAS THAT NOT A CATCH?

25. Where did we even get these referees?

26. Somewhere near Clemson, I have a feeling.

27. Yep, another call against us, how shocking.

28. Gus, I'm going to need you to quit rotating our quarterbacks around.

29. WHY do we have three? I need stability in my life.

30. HEY, but we got a touchdown!

31. One more and the game is tied!

32. Auburn LIVES for the last minute of a game.

33. What if this is just like 2013 all over again?

34. My heart can't handle this pressure.

35. Oh HE THREW IT!

36. And it was batted down.

37. But you know what? 13-19, against the #2 ranked team in the country? I can handle that.

38. War Eagle always, regardless of the scoreboard.

39. I think we've got a fun season ahead of us.

40. I truly do believe in Auburn, and love it.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
