2. Why are there four 15-minute student parking spots next to the student center?

3. Why are you investing thousands of dollars and time into Minerva's when they clearly aren't holding their purpose?

4. How the hell did the Dutch Microwave explode?

5. Why do we lack so much diversity?

6. Do we have a squirrel problem?

7. Why do we have a D-1 sport when we are a D-3 liberal arts college?

8. Why does the end of Steinmetz hall smell so weird?

9. Why is our mascot still the Dutchmen when it's only representing a fraction of the community?

10. Why can't Freshman choose a meal plan?

11. Why are there so many TV's?????

12. Why do male sports get more funding than most female sports?

13. Why can't I use declining for everything in the bookstore?

14. Why does Skellar have such sketchy hours?

15. Why do they make Chet's "cash only" when all other dining options accept declining/credit?

16. Why aren't dorm rooms the same size?

17. Why does everyone love the Nott so much?

18. Can Ozone lunch be every day?

19. Why is the only 24-hour food option the farthest from centralized campus (CPH)?

20. Why isn't the library open 24hrs?

21. Why are there wind tunnels all over campus?

22. Why is the student cheering section blocked off for home games on Frank Bailey?

23. Why does everyone forget to register their cars?

24. How do you charge $4.50 for bad iced coffee, when most places are half the price?

25. Why does the food give everyone intestinal issues?

26. Why does the Health Center close at inappropriate times?

27. Why does the Health Center give out penicillin like it's the solution for everything?

29. Why does this school attract so many prep school kids?

30. Back to parking, is student parking an actual myth?

31. Why are we charged an extra $50 for stealing when it just gives people incentive to steal?

33. Why is the library painted like a kid's museum?

35. Why has security failed to notice 15 cars being broke into?

36. Why did you change west eggs when they were the only good option?

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
