Having a roommate is possibly the best thing ever. No, I'm joking having a roommate sucks unless they're your best friend. Luckily in my case my college roommate and I went from a small one bedroom dorm to a two bedroom apartment. I love my roommate and the fact that she's my best friend! Here are 40 questions I ask my roommate weekly.

1. Can I barrow this?

2. Did you take this outfit?

3. Do you have any clean clothes?

4. Have you ate yet?

5. Do you want to fit dinner?

6. Do we even have groceries?

7. Have I lost weight?

8. You going to the gym today?

9. Will you bring me food to work?

10. Can we just ride to campus together?

13. What's the weather like outside?

14. I need to wash laundry want me to do yours too?

15. Can you just call into work?

16. Will you take this Science test for me? I'll take your Spanish test!

17. What is that smell?

18. Are you awake?

20. Can I come lay in bed with you?

21. Do you wanna skip class and watch Mean Girls?

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
