The weather has finally stabilized to be a chilly, winter time regular. Now more than ever, it can be very difficult to figure out what tops to wear, whether it's jean or legging weather, and most importantly, what shoes you can wear to look cute or be warm in. It is very difficult to find shoes that will provide the whole package in regards to looking nice, keeping your feet warm, and being weather resistant. Truth be told, when it comes to winter shoes, you will have to choose. These are, in my opinion, the top five pairs of Winter shoes I feel everyone should have in their closet.
1. Uggs
Uggs are a true staple for a girl. Not only do they provide complete warmth to your feet, but they also come in a large array of styles, colors, and prices in more stores than one. Now, Uggs are produced in a waterproof version sold on their website for not too much more than the cost of the original Ugg boots. Though the price may seem high, when taken care of, Ugg boots could last a girl years. They are indeed a very good investment to make.
2. Ugg Snow Boots
These Ugg snow boots are another staple. These cost more than the original Ugg boots and the price increase is due to these boots being specifically for the snow or any other precipitation that requires heavy duty boots. They're made with a thick material to keep out the snow or water, and even have fur as depicted above to help keep your feet and ankles warm.
3. Timberlands
Most people will make the joke about people from New York wearing Timberlands, but the truth is, people all around the country own them. Not only do they look cool, come in many colors and styles, but they are also made out of a very thick material and have solid grips at the bottom to be able to withstand thick snow and ice. If Ugg snow boots aren't your style, perhaps a pair of Timberlands will be a better fit.
4. Combat Boots
Black combat boots are definitely not the type of boots you would want to wear in heavy precipitation, but they are very fashionable. They come in many shades of brown, gray, and black (preferable winter colors). Some even come with the sweater-like material on top for extra warmth and still leave room for you to wear them with thick socks. For a casual day that holds little to no potential for precipitation, combat boots are the way to go.
