I have to admit, this past semester, my GPA wasn’t as high as I had initially hoped it would be. I didn’t do bad by any means, but compared to my freshman year, there was a big drop in my average grade. I’m aiming for at least a 3.7 this semester; to help myself accomplish this, I’ve put together a list of 4 different ways to achieve a high GPA this coming semester.
1. Stay on Top of your Assignments
I was really bad at staying on top of my schoolwork in high school and I worked hard to combat this in college. My GPA definitely grew a lot during the transition from high school to college, and a lot of it was due to me making sure I completed my assignments on time. It was difficult, but with careful planning, I was able to make sure all of my assignments were finished to the best of my ability.
2. Study!
Studying is probably my least favorite part of college; I hate the repetitiveness of having to read the same information over and over again — but it’s a necessary evil. Let’s face it, as much as we hate it, studying is the only way we’ll be able to remember a lot of the information presented to us in our lectures. It may be annoying, but it can drastically change your grade.
