Hello, December! This is my favorite month of the year! One, I was born in this beautiful month, Christmas is coming, and then New Years. How does one not get way pumped? This is the one month of the year you can be totally weird and wear ugly sweaters and no one can say anything! I noticed that my roommate and I were the only ones who really went all out in our neighborhood so I figured some people needed some ideas on how to step up their Christmas cheer game!

1. Blast Christmas music at home or in your car. Sing carols everywhere you go.

Who doesn't like to sing or jam out to some Christmas songs? Hello! People this is the most exciting time of the year! Spotify or Pandora can give you direct access if you don't have any CD's or bought songs on your iTunes playlist. For those of us in the upstate Magic 98.9 is playing Christmas music on the radio! Singing Christmas songs is going to put you in a better mood and will brighten up your day. My favorite is Penatonix Christmas and my all time favorite Christmas song is, "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey!

2. Decorations!

Let's be real. We are on a budget and just flat out broke. Decorations can get a little bit pricey so no one is expecting your house or apartment to look like this. Even though I would kill for mine to look like that. Do not worry, decorations can be affordable for us! All depending on the quality of lights and decorations you would like is how much you will end up spending. Time Warner Cable has a 100 pack of lights for under four dollars at Wal-Mart! The dollar store and or ALDI has cheaper ones for sale.

3. Community Events!

Going to events like "Lights of the South" or anything along those lines in your community will be super helpful to adding to the excitement! If you would like to find an event near you or in SC go to http://discoversouthcarolina.com/products/25827 to find the next Christmas extravaganza! My personal favorite is the "Night of A Thousand Candles" at Brookgreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach! My more local favorite would be "A Connie Maxwell's Christmas" here in Greenwood! This year I get to go to the Biltmore Christmas!

4. Throw a Christmas Shindig!

Get a group of friends or family members together and throw a party! Who doesn't love going to endless Christmas parties around the holidays? You can bake cookies, play games, start a bonfire, or watch movies, drink hot cocoa! To make it even more exciting, have a tacky sweater party and create a photo booth! If you are worried about not having enough food to feed everyone, tell people to bring their own! If you really are feeling like spreading the Christmas magic, go Christmas Caroling around your neighborhood or community! There is nothing like spending time with the people that you love and enjoying the fun!

It's all up to you now, sweet friends. I know from experience that people will make fun of the levels of your Christmas cheer. I have terrible decoration taste and can't wrap gifts to save my life, but I still get out there and try! It's the happiest time of the year so make it in your own way! Don't be a Grinch this year! HAPPY HOLIDAYS Y'ALL!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
