Ice Age Wiki

Chances are, you won’t be with your high school sweetheart forever. Everyone is new and different and college is a time for a change. During your time at college, you will meet a lot of different guys, of course, most of them you will friend zone. Nevertheless, these are the four different guys you will more than likely date in college.

1. Sid

He's the one who is a little bit awkward and desperate for love, but you decide to give him a chance anyways. Because he likes you so much he will always try to impress you, which usually backfires and he gets into some sort of trouble. He talks about his feelings too much and he is very emotional. Maybe it's best that he is left in the friend zone.

2. Manfred

He isn't the softest and most optimistic person around, but there is something about him that you find attractive. Maybe it's his muscles? Or maybe it's his protective instincts? No one really knows. The smallest things annoy him and put him in a bad mood and he doesn't smile or laugh nearly as much as you do. Really the only positive characteristic he holds is how protective he is of you, but not overprotective.

3. Diego

On the outside he is intimidating and seems like a bad boy. ut on the inside, he has a heart of gold and is really just a big baby. He loves kids and puppies and everything else that is as sweet and playful as him. He is loyal to his friends and would never let anything bad happen to anyone in his life, no matter how much he is annoyed by them. His only flaw is that he has a hard time saying no which leads him to tell white lies and he tends to leave when situations get tough.

4. Scrat

He will always have that one thing that he loves more than he loves you, whether it be COD or his frat bros. You could be on a date but if one of his bros wants to play COD or do just about anything else, you can bet he will cut the date short or suggest going to said person's apartment or the frat house to continue the date. He has all of the qualities to be the perfect guy, you just need to make him realize how important you are to him.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
