Fans. They come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you're a Whovian, Trekkie, or an EXO-L; you dedicate a good chunk of your life for that very thing. If it's music, comic books, television shows, you as the fan make sure you know every little detail. When it comes to me, if you didn't know from my various posts thus far, I'm into the K-Pop scene.

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the very band that got me into K-Pop this past weekend for the second time. I was struggling trying to figure out what article idea I could do and then it hit me. Why don't I do a few reasons showing why some people, including myself are dedicated fans when it comes to bands.

Without further adieu!

1. Being first to buy tickets.

Buying tickets for ANYTHING is stressful. I had got up early for these tickets to go on sale and let me tell you, it was stressful. It was like the Hunger Games for tickets. Especially since EVERYONE wanted P1 tickets; which is the photo op. I was lucky enough to get the second meet and greet opportunity since I KNEW I wasn't going to get the first one.

2. Being first in Line For the Show; Otherwise, you're standing in line.

At the fan meeting I went to this past Sunday, I had planned on standing in line. I had done it before when I saw them last year. The only difference between the two times though was that the second time, I had come prepared. I knew it was going to rain, so I had an umbrella. I dressed for the weather. I even brought a snack. There was someone I knew that was there a DAY before the show. That's dedication. Plus, she got to be upfront.

3. Knowing EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL about them.

When you find that special band or even a television show you just got into, you have to know every single detail about it. For instance, I know that one of the members from the band has the same blood type as me. Is that creepy? Yes, but when they do profiles of each member in Korea for these idol groups, it's added into the their profile, so you know. So, in a way, it's not creepy.

4. Being "somewhat" of a stalker.

Okay, this one isn't me. And let me explain. Stalking is illegal. Don't do it. Remember that band I told you about? Yeah, so when they fly to a new city whether they're in Korea going to Japan or recently flying from Houston to Los Angeles, there are always fans waiting for them at the airport. Most of the time, it's harmless and they're taping the band saying, "Have a safe flight!" or "Have fun in such and such city!" But sometimes, and usually it's when they're going to another Asian country, the fans are just TOO CLOSE. In fact, their agency as a blacklist of people that know not to get too close. That's how bad it is.

There are PLENTY of other things that determine how much of a dedicated fan you are through trivia, watching movies more than one, even reading fan fiction! The point is, you're a fan boy/ fan girl for a reason and NO ONE can take that away from you!

Shout out to GOT7 (@GOT7Officila on Twitter) for ALMOST finishing their fan meeting tour in the United States! Please come back soon, once you finish your next comeback! Love, an I GOT7!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
