4 Study Tips Every College Student Should Know
College Bound

As much as we wish the day before review in a class was all the studying we need, unfortunately, it's a little more than that. Here are four of my favorite study tips for all college students!

1. Go to class.

This one is probably the toughest. College is great because you get to make your schedule, pick class times that work for you and go!

2. Find your spot.

Whether it's the library, a coffee shop, your room (if this your spot I'm jealous), or under your favorite tree; find your spot and use it. Studying can be hard, but once you find your favorite study spot it gets a little easier.

3. Plan ahead.

Instead of waiting until the study guide comes out or the week before the test, try studying a little at the end of each week. Instead of memorizing, try putting the information into your long term memory. This will help!

4. Find your study tool and use it.

It might be notecards, quizlet, or even just reading through your notes. Whatever works for you, use it! And once you've got your tool, don't wait until the last minute to use it. Make notecards every week or study your quizlet every Sunday night until the test. It's crazy how much this can really help!

Although there are many ways of studying; these are just a few study tips that I have found helpful throughout my college career so far. Find what works for you and use it!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
