4 Struggles Of Being A Female Athlete.

No one takes you seriously.

I've played sports all my life and have had brothers do the same. My brothers were taken way more seriously than I was.

Guys never want to play with you.

In high school, guys would always play basketball in the gym during lunch and on several occasions, I wanted to play with them and they were very hesitant because I was a girl.

The Crowds for your games are minimal.

..Even when you are better then the boy's team.

People think we aren't tough or like contact in sports.

In reality, we bring more contact to a sport then a guy does

Don't let people belittle you because of your gender! Stand up and show your talents for the world to see.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
