We all have a celebrity crush. Or two. Okay, maybe five. We have pictures of them saved on our phone, we tell people we will marry them and you totally fan girl anytime you see them. Some even try to morph a picture of themselves with their crush in a picture together (guilty!). These crushes do not just come out of nowhere though, there are stages.
Stage 1: You Hear of them
This is when you first hear of them. Eh, they are not that great. Or are they? You do not understand the big hype about them and why people love them. You hear all these people talk about them, but you don't even know who they are. You've never seen them.
Stage 2: You See Them
Okay, so you've seen them now, and you understand. They are B-E-A-U-TIFUL. How is it possible for this gorgeous being to exist?! Proceed to stage three.
Stage 3: Obsession
You just can't get enough of them. If they are an actor, you watch the show or movie so many times you can quote them. "If you're a bird, I'm a bird." If they are a musician, you know all their songs and concert dates. April 6, Justin Bieber, be there. You follow and regularly check their Insta, Twitter, and all other social media. You fan-girl anytime you hear them on the radio or see them on the news. You hear any major news and you plaster social media with it. You know their birthdays and make sure to wish them a HBD on social media in hopes that they notice you, and possibly (gasp!) favorite or retweet it.
Stage 4: Wedding Bells
By this stage, it's full blown celebrity crush. You've told people to prepare for a wedding. You may have even gone as far as imagining and planning it. It's your happily ever after. You don't need a significant other because you know as soon as your celebrity crush meets you that it's all over and they will fall head over heels in love with you. It's true love, it's meant to be. It's meant to be with them, and all of your other celebrity crushes. You look up how old they are and then start reasoning with yourself how age is just a number. Eleven years? Oh that's nothing. They don't mind if you're married to multiple people. Tom Cruise won't care when I marry Diego Boneta or Shemar Moore. Chace Crawford? Nah, he doesn't care either.
