1. Kat Von D liquid lipsticks

These things are amazing. They stay on forever and have unbelievable pigment. Kat Von D created the best liquid lipsticks that I have ever tried. They are not very drying which helps especially in the winter. The amount of colors that are in her collection makes it even better because you never know when I could use the bright purple color for my lips.

2. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

Anyone in the makeup community knows about this concealer. I recently tried it and can’t imagine my makeup routine without it. It doesn’t crease at all, unlike many other concealers. I got a shade lighter than my skin tone to highlight. Even when I put them both on my face does not look cakey. Although the smell is a little weird, but it’s a small price to pay for creaseless concealer.

3. Too Faced Chocolate Palette

Yes, the famous eye shadow palette that smells just like chocolate. It smells amazing when you open the container. The fragrance even stays on after application, which is kind of cool when people say your eyes smell like chocolate. The colors are so easy to blend and the pigment is perfect.

4. NYX HD Foundation

Before using this foundation, I was using Tarte’s Amazonian Clay foundation, and I must say I like this ‘drugstore’ one better. It is full coverage and does not leave my face cakey. The formula is very matte and does not oxidize much on my skin, so the color you get is true to what it will be in a few hours. The foundation also comes in a variety of shades which allows people who have dark skin to very pale skin to try this product. I am the first shade, yes I am pale, but not many makeup companies come out with that big of a shade range.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
