4 Reasons Why Moe's is Better Than Chipotle

During my freshman year of college, I went to Chipotle for the first time. It was the best burrito I’ve ever eaten, as cliché as that sounds. For the weeks after, I found myself going there at least once a week and eventually expanding my horizons and getting a burrito bowl. Last year, I went to Moe’s Southwest Grill and I instantly fell in love. Here are some reasons why Moe’s blows Chipotle out of the water.

More Options
At Chipotle, they have different kinds of meat and you can either get a burrito bowl or a burrito. At Moe’s, sometimes I find myself standing in front of the menu for 10 minutes trying to figure out what I want. At Moe’s, there’s so many options: burritos, stacks, burrito bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and endless amount of toppings to put on whatever you decide to get: beans, rice, olives, pico, guacamole, steak, ground beef, tofu, queso, and the best of all, the chipotle ranch sauce. At Chipotle, it seems as though one is limited to a steak burrito with guacamole.

Customer Service

“Welcome to Moe’s!” is the first thing you hear when you enter Moe’s. The workers are extremely friendly and if your order isn’t ready by the time you go to pay, they bring it to you at whatever table you are sitting at. At Chipotle, often times customers are overwhelmed by the long line that greets them. When ordering, the workers are extremely rushed to get the order completed instead of taking the time to ask customers what they want.

No E.coli

Need I say more? A couple months ago, the news released a major story that a major E.coli outbreak came from people eating food at Chipotle. Moe’s has never had an issue with their food.

Queso

Moe’s is famous for their queso. It really is the best queso ever. Chipotle doesn’t even offer queso. At Moe’s, you can get queso, whether it’s in your order, or on the side with chips. They even have free queso day on Thursday, September 15th. Does Chipotle even give anything away for free other than E.coli?

I hope all of you Chipotle fans out there eventually go to Moe’s and see that it’s better.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
