Woke up 15 minutes before class? That's okay! You can quickly get dressed, grab your stuff, run to class and manage to make it on time. Having a 10 minute interval between classes is plausible because the buildings are so close together. You may even manage to grab a snack between classes.
2. Small class size
Your biggest class will probably be 20, maybe even 30 people at most. The smallest me be around 5 to 10 people. Having a small class gives you a more personal connection to your studies and classmates. Your professor will have the time to give you genuine feedback on your papers, discussions and class work. They won't waste time with busy work and standardized It might seem more challenging at first, but you will be thankful for it later because you will feel like you truly got your money's worth in class.
3. Everyone knows everyone
It's a small school with only a few residence halls and small classes. You will get familiar with nearly everyone in your major and the majority of students on campus. You are very likely to have a familiar face in all of your class every semester. You'll recognize people in the cafeteria, on the quad; it's like a home away from home.
4. Develop close relationships with faculty
Since everyone knows everyone and classes are so small you will get several chances to get to know the faculty. Your professor gets to know your writing styles, thoughts on the lecture and if you decide to visit them during their office hours, a friendship may even occur. The cafeteria workers will recognize you, be sure to say hello and thank you. The janitors and maintenance staff will be familiar to you, be sure to always be nice and gratuitous toward them. Get to know everyone on the staff, unexpected friendships may occur and you'll have a greater appreciation for the people who work to make your university experience great.
