1. Maks is back!

Ohhh yes! The oldest Chmerkovskiy brother and the "bad boy" of the ballroom is back and in the best shape ever. I gotta say that Maks stole my heart in season 18 after he won his first mirrorball trophy with gold medalist, Meryl Davis. They were how we say..... relationship goals. I could have sworn they were in love and would soon let the whole world know that they were an item. Unfortunately that was not the case and they were just good "friends." How sad, I guess there will be no Boris and Oleg. But at least he's happy with good ole Peta Murgatroyd.

2. Ryan Lochte

Ohh boy!! Here we go... first olympian to be casted on this season of DWTS, at least he is not a gymnast (i'm sure there will be at least one this season though.) Probably the only reason he is doing DWTS is to fix his image that he ruined after his gold medal win when he lied about his robbery in Brazil. So his publicist suggested "hey go on DWTS and win America's heart again" good move publicist... good move...

3. The Bachelorette

Finally a bachelorette will hopefully be joining DWTS. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but I'm about 90% sure she will be on dancing with the stars. I hope so because I'm tired of just seeing "bachelors" on the show. I don't even remember the last time a bachelorette was on. I'm so excited for her! She showed us some of her moves on an episode of the Bachelorette where she dancing with James T and she's actually a good dancer unlike Kim Kardashian. Hopefully I see a little bit of Jordan Rogers supporting his new fiancee (which i'm still a little hesitant about that, I still think he just wanted to go on the show for fame, but... that's none of my business)

4. Emma is back!

Okay maybe that one didn't rhyme as well as Maks' did, but I'm still so excited she's back! I love Emma she has such a kind soul, and although she mostly always gets stuck with old people, she brings out the young in them which makes us love them even more! Maybe this season they'll give her a fighting change to win her first mirrorball trophy and she'll be fighting for the trophy against her own boyfriend-Sasha. This should be interesting!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
