4 Reasons Why This Election is Important

This year’s Presidential election has been a groundbreaking one in so many ways. November 8th is going to be an eventful day. There are many reasons why this election has been so great:

The candidates have shed light on many issues. People’s voices have been heard and it has had a large impact on the country and American Politics in general.
The debates have led to hysterical SNL skits. Alec Baldwin did an amazing impersonation of Donald Trump that had pretty much everyone laughing.
Bernie Sanders. He has given the younger citizens a voice in politics. He has also influenced change in some candidates platforms which has helped the youth stay interested and active.
Political activism is through the roof. So many American citizens are taking part in this year’s election and making sure their voices are heard. Citizens are realizing how important it is to vote in this election.

This year’s election is very important and everyone should try and take part in it! Go to https://vote.gov to register to vote so you can take part in this year’s election.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
