Siena is a beautiful city in the Tuscan region of Italy. Just an hour train ride from Florence, it's the perfect day trip. Make sure to visit these places, if you find yourself in Siena one day.

1. Piazza Pubblico

The center of all the hustle and bustle, this circular shaped piazza is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and always filled with people.

2. Siena Cathedral

3. Botanical Garden

4. Torre del Mangia

Climb the 400 stairs to the top of the clock tower for breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Tuscany and the precariously perched houses on the hillside.

Siena may be a somewhat underrated city for those in Italy, but I promise the trip is worth it.
