4 Hints That He Just Might Not Be That Interested In You

Does he like me? The famous question everyone asks when they start talking to someone. The only way to find this answer is through their actions. Here are few hints and tricks to figure out if that guy is actually interested, or just passing time.

1. He never asks about you.

When a guy isn’t that interested in a girl, he’s not going to ask questions about their personal matters, family, hobbies, what they like to do in their spare time, etc. The guy could honestly care less about the girl’s life. He’s probably more interested in giving himself something to do because he’s bored. Sorry, but the girl's just there to kill time. It kind of sounds awful, but yes, if he’s not asking you questions and the majority of the time talking about himself, maybe that’s a sign to ditch the guy.

2. He talks about other girls.

If he ever talks about other girls he’s interested in, talked to in the past, or attracted to, maybe it’s time to rethink that whole crush you have. If he starts talking about these subjects then he most likely sees you as a friend. Think about it, has a guy that’s ever been interested in you talked about other girls he’s involved with or has been? The only exception to this rule is unless the girl asks about it. If you decide to ask him about his past or current relationships, go ahead, but be careful, because figuring out if he likes you more than a friend just gets a whole lot harder.

3. He never likes any of your social media posts.

Maybe he repels technology and he doesn’t even use social media, but this one is for the guys that do. Think about it this way, if a guy likes a girl, he’s going to like her most recent posts, maybe even comment. So, what does a guy do if he’s just not that into her? He’s not even going to click on her social media accounts, he probably won’t even know what her username is.

Sad to say ladies, but if he’s not clicking that like button, he’s not liking what he’s seeing.

As shallow as it may sound that liking an Instagram photo, or liking a post on Facebook, is an indication of someone being into you, it is what it is. In this day and age, everything revolves around social media. It might sound ridiculous but think about it – when a girl likes a guy, she’s going to like his most recent posts and keep tabs on his life. If a guy likes a girl he will do the same thing as well.

4. He says things like, "Hang out?"

“Hey, want to hang out?” said the guy never. If he’s never asking to hang out or making an effort to plan outings with you, realize he’s not interested. If you’re always the one asking to go out or start to feel like the only one putting any attempt at pursuing the relationship, maybe you should stop. If a guy really liked a girl, he would honestly “move mountains” to hang out with her. Guys do everything with an intention.

If he really wanted to talk, he would text or call. If he really wanted hangout, he would make plans. If he was only interested in you, other girls would never come up in a conversation. When you post that cute selfie that you’re proud of, his username would pop up in your notifications, so trust me when I say guys do everything with intentions.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
