4 Good Mystery Books

Call me crazy, but I love to read for fun. It is a good and relaxing way to get away from the important, stressful things in your life. It is so nice to grab some coffee or hot tea and go to a relaxing place, whether that is outside or inside, and indulge in a good book. I enjoy reading any and all kinds of books, but my favorite types are ones that I just can't put down. These types of books happen to always be mystery related so I decided to share four of my favorite mystery books that I probably finished in 24 hours because I could not put it down!

1. Gone For Good

One of my favorites is "Gone For Good" by Harlan Coben. You will be hooked with the story about Ken Klein's disappearance, for he was the prime suspect of the girl he once loved murder case. He was looked up to and adored by his little brother, Will Klein, and now eleven years have passed and Will finds evidence that he is not in fact gone for good. Go on the journey with Will and find out the truths, even the hard truths, about his brother.

2. Redemption Road

Funny thing about this one, I am currently in the middle of still reading it! I am only on Chapter 10 and can already tell you this is one of my favorite books. Read "Redemption Road" by John Hart and find out why a little boy has a gun and sets out to shoot the man who killed his mother, a troubled detective who gets caught up in a shooting and has to relive her haunting past, and a former (good?) cop who just got out of prison for thirteen years to find himself in the same situation as before. They are all connected with their troubled pasts and lives, but how?

3. Silent Sister

"Silent Sister" by Diane Chamberlain is absolutely full of surprises. Riley MacPherson has always believed that her older sister, Lisa, committed suicide when she was a young teenager. When Riley's dad dies and she goes to North Carolina to clean out his house, she finds evidence that leads her to believe Lisa is alive and well, living under a new identity. But why? You won't believe what happens and the truths discovered in this story!

4. Night Road

"Night Road" by Kristin Hannah is one of my all time favorites that I have reread four times now. Although this one is not as much of a mystery, it is still based on a tragedy that will hook you to where you have to see what happens. Read about the triangle of friendship (and maybe more?) of twins Mia and Zach and best friend Lexie. While Mia and Zach are blessed with a nice house, loving family, and everything they could want, Lexie is an orphan who lives on a trailer park with her aunt. Mia and Lexie become inseparable and when Zach joins in the mix, they look forward to enjoying the best summer of their life after graduation. That is quickly changed when tragedy occurs one night, and nothing will ever be the same.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
