4 DIY Fall Decor To Spice Up Your Life

4 DIY Fall Decor To Spice Up Your Life

For those of you who can't find the perfect fall decor here are a few ideas that you can make on your own. This is a good way to make it the way you want it and add your own personal touches to it!


1. Fall Pillow

Materials needed:

Pillow case

Fabric paint

Paint brush/roller

Cardboard

Reusable stencil

Iron

Directions:

1. Put the cardboard inside the pillow case

2. Put the stencil over the pillow case

3. Paint the pillowcase

4. Make sure to get around the edges

5. Let dry

6. Remove the stencil

7. Place iron on the DRY paint for 30 seconds to set the paint

2. Mason Jar Pumpkin

Materials needed:

20 Mason Jar Lid Rings

Spray paint (orange)

Yarn

Cinnamon Sticks

Directions:

1. Lay out protective covering on the ground and lay the mason jar rings on it.

2. Spray paint the rings making sure they are all cover in orange

3. Let the rings completely dry

4. Stand the rings up and make sure they are all facing the same way.

5.T ie a string through them tightly to make the rings fan out nicely.

6. Put a few cinnamon sticks in the middle for the stem.

7. Admire your mason jar pumpkin!

3.Leaf Garland

Materials needed:

Artificial Leaves

String/rope/ribbon

Paint Brush (optional)

Glitter (optional)

Elmers Glie (optional)

Hole Punch

Directions:

1. (optional) Use a paint brush to apply Elmer's glue to the leaves.

2. (optional) Sprinkle glitter on the leaves that have glue on them.

3. Let dry

4. Dump off the excess glitter from the leaves.

5. Punch a hole at the bottom of the leaves (where the stem would start)

6. Attach ribbon to the leaves by tying the ribbon through the hole on the leaf.

7. Attach the strands of ribbon hanging from the leaves to a long strand of ribbon (or whatever you want on your wall).

8. Enjoy some decorative leaves hanging in your house.

4. Fall Mason Jar Candle Holder

Materials needed:

Mason jar

ModPodge

Leaves (real or artificial)

Sponge brush

Directions:

1. Make sure the mason jar is clean

2. Paint a place on the jar with mod podge

3. Place a leaf on the jar in the spot where the mod podge is

4. Place your brush with mod podge on it on the leaf and brush it around

5. Make sure you get all the tips and edges of the leaves

6. Repeat step 4 until the jar is completely covered in leaves

7. Let dry for 1 hour

8. Place candle inside the jar

9. Admire the flickering of the candle in the jar.
