For whatever reason, ghosts are a big problem this time of year. Whether you believe in them or not, these supernatural spirits won't hesistate to make your life as scary and inconvenient as possible. Remember, it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or what you look like ghosts scare everyone, they do not discriminate. Ghosts are woke as heck. If you find yourself in a haunted situation, here are some surefire ways to get the ghosts out of your place, and out of your life.

Have a chat with the ghost

More often than not, ghosts are pretty oblivious to the fact that they are ghosts. They usually don’t really realize that they are dead. If this appears to be the case regarding your unwanted, supernatural guest, then perhaps the best course of action would be to befriend the spirit and sit them down for a calm one on one discussion. Politely inform the ghost that, unfortunately, they are no longer alive and they are not welcome in your home.

Just ask it to leave!

In case the ghost is fully aware they are deceased and are intentionally haunting you, there’s always the option to confront them face to face. Turn the lights down low, sit by yourself in the corner, and turn off your phone. Your vulnerability will most likely attract the ghosts to your location. Once you sense the presence of the spirit, calmly and courteously ask him or her to exit the premises. I’d say this works at least 3/10 times.

Set a trap

Ghosts love scaring people. It’s what they do. Regardless if they are bad spirits or good spirits they are still going to want to make you scream because they simply just have nothing better to do. They’re dead it’s not like they can take part in fun activities like road trips with their friends or drive in movies. Because of their unfortunate existence they will pretty much jump at any opportunity to scare the daylights out of you so take advantage of this fact and set a metaphysical trap that will attract them to you. Once they are within range activate your trap and catch them. Please dispose of ghosts in an environmentally friendly way.

Destroy its confidence

Most ghosts take pride in their work. They are scarers by trade, and receive criticism of their vocation very harshly. Since they are all dead and can’t do anything else they have no choice but to take their job very seriously. If a ghost thinks it’s not doing a good job scaring you it will feel that the best option is to move on to a different location and leave you alone. Try hitting them with insults such as “omg my grandma could scare me better than that” or “how can you call yourself a ghost if you can’t even scare me”. It’s kind of mean but the results are worth it.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
