The most wonderful time of the year is here! The Christmas Holiday! There are lights everywhere, Christmas movies playing on every channel, and delicious smells coming from every kitchen. Some of the best goodies are usually made with the people we love. So here are Christmas snacks you can make with the ones you love!

1. Christmas Popcorn

Pop some popcorn and add some sweet treats. Christmas popcorn is one of the easiest snacks to make. You can add everything from red and green M&M's too melted chocolate and sprinkles! The popcorn will add a bright color pop to it! A great treat to make when you want to watch a Christmas.

2. Pretzel Hugs

These cute bite-sized snacks are so easy to make! Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Then toss some pretzels onto it. I think the squared ones work the best for this but you can use any type you want. Then, on each pretzel, put a Hershey's kiss them. Then pop the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes on low heat. After about 2 minutes of cooling, put an M&M on top of each of the Hershey's so that it melts into it. Sweet, Savory, and oh so delicious!

3. Chocolate Covered Pretzels

This might be one of the easiest ones out there. Melt any chocolate of your choice. Personally, on pretzels, I like milk chocolate the most. Put down some parchment paper on a pan and you're ready to dip! After you dip your pretzels in the chocolate, place them on the parchment paper to dry. While they are still wet, you can sprinkle Christmas colored decorations on them. You can also drizzle colorful chocolate on them! When they dry, you can pack them up into festive baggies and hand them out to your friends.

4. Hot Chocolate

This is definitely a classic. You can never go too wrong with hot chocolate. No matter how you make it, it will be delicious. You can make it from a powder or other ways! At any convenience store, you can find many types of hot chocolate mixes. Or you can melt chocolate and pour it into hot milk (not really sure if that works). Toppings are also super fun! You can add sprinkles and other candies! I personally love to add marshmallows but, whipped cream can also always make you happy!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
