Whether you're a college kid, a business owner, or just someone trying their best; there is always room for a few more bucks in your wallet. Sometimes, in order to make more cash, it requires working more hours, donating plasma, or seeing how much your liver will sell for on the black market, but it doesn't always have to be that hard. As long as you have a smartphone and internet access, there are so many ways to make some extra money by just sitting at home.
These are 5 apps that will help you rake in some extra dough this year.
1. Panel App
Okay, so technically with this one you have to do a bit more than sit at home. This app uses your GPS and as you travel the world (or maybe just to and from class) it racks up points. It also generates surveys to help build your points quicker! It's the easiest app to make a few bucks, although not the quickest. Just download and go!
2. S'more
S'more is an app that not everyone will love but many will appreciate. Basically, once you download and set it up it displays ads on your lock screen. At first, I was a little skeptical of this app but soon realized it was harmless. Every day you unlock your phone you get 10cents. It doesn't seem like much but it starts to add up. My biggest concern with this app was if it would drain my battery life but it seems like it has no effect. S'more also offers surveys as a way to try to earn points quicker.
3. HQ
HQ is a trivia game that takes place 1-2 a day. This one is a little harder to earn cash because with trivia you have to get the answers right. Each game has a $2,000 or more prize that you could win! There are 12 questions. They start off easy, and sometimes laughable, but quickly become harder. You have 10 seconds to answer the question but if you don't make it in time or hit an incorrect answer, you're eliminated. If you're the sole winner, the money is all yours! If multiple people win the money is divided amongst them.
4. Swagbucks
If you're shopping, watching videos, surfing the web, playing games, or anything else possible; Swagbucks could help make you some money. They offer points for just searching for popular keywords while googling, well, anything. You can watch videos about politics, celebrities, or sports and earn points after finishing a pre-made playlist. If you're online shopping, they offer cash back for a huge selection of online retailers. You can play games on their website or if you spend money on any mobile games you can get cash back. They also offer surveys to complete if all those other options aren't enough. Basically, anything you do on a computer of smartphone, Swagbucks can help.
