39 Things That '90s Babies Remember And Miss

When 90s babies look back on their childhood, I’m honestly sure we could say that we grew up with some of the best T.V. shows, movies, games, books, candy, and memories. The 1990's was thee time period to grow up in, and if you didn’t, I feel bad for you. But let’s take a minute to go back in time and reminisce on all the great memories that we still have that run through our minds from time to time.

1. Waking up early or rushing home after school to watch cartoons.

2. When Disney Channel and Walt Disney made the best movie.

3. We were all so annoyed when we never were able to see these characters' faces.

4. Blockbuster was the original spot to walk over to with your friends and rent any movie you wanted.

5. Every kid saw one of these episodes in their science classes.

6. We can’t forget about our go to magazines that we always would read.

7. R.I.P. to all the Tamagotchi’s that died.

8. These were classic books we all read probably more than once.

9. Our form of texting and communication that we had during class.

10. Don’t worry, the paper fortune teller and Mash would help us determine our future.

11.Remember when we drew this on every sheet of paper we had.

12. It was always a great day when mom, or dad, packed a Lunchable.

13. And we failed every time we tried to do this.

14. If we lost one of the lead tips from the inside, we were screwed.

15. We collected, traded, and bragged about what Pokémon cards we had.

16. Can’t forget about the Beanie Baby collection that we worked hard to build up.

17. Girls, we thought chokers were so cool to wear. What were we thinking?

18. After a while, these were more fun to snap on our wrists or hit other people with rather than to actually wear them.

19. These were the stylish Scrunchies that would look cute but rip some of your hair out when you took it out.

20. We were obsessed with Ring Pops and Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape gum.

`

21. What ever happened to these??

22. After you tried one flavor, you had to try the rest to see which one was the best.

23. One of the coolest but most disgusting Ketchup ever created.

24.This was the starter pack on how to become the Next Great Baker- Kid Edition.

25. We were also in the training for how to become Van Gogh or Picasso.

26. But let’s be honest, we all just wanted to sit in our rooms and make pictures with our Lite-Brite.

27. They see us rollin, they hatin, patrolling they tryin to catch us ridin dirty!

28. The only way we knew how to jam out was by using this.

29. Whenever we went to the store with our parents, we went up and down the aisles just to take all of the coupons.

30. Whenever mom came home with these from the store, we just wanted to devour them right then and there.

31. But when we saw that brand new box of cereal, we went straight for the toys at the bottom of the box.

32. Even though these were annoying, we still had about two or three of them.

33. These three games consumed most of our play time.

34. But Monkeys in the Barrel and the Poppers took most of our boredom away.

35. This was the one game we secretly wished could happen in real life but we would be all scared if it really did happen.

36. But this was the ultimate game changer that all 90's kids were hooked on.

37. The struggle was real when the game wouldn’t work, and you had to blow on the Nintendo game cartridges to get them to work.

38. These were the girls who ran the world before Beyoncé came along.

39. Not to mention that every 90's girl had a crush on one of the Backstreet Boys. I mean, common. Just look at them!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
