Feelings have a strange way of playing with your mind and tricking you into believing something is going well when it is not at all. In the case that you are beginning to question whether the guy you’re seeing is cool or if he’s just a tool, these 37 signs should help you out:

1. First things first: he adds you on snapchat right away.

2. But then you have to block him because he sends you things and claims they will disappear anyway

3. So he can’t be held accountable for his actions.

4. He only has time to hang out really late at night…like no earlier than midnight.

5. He doesn’t attempt to get to know your friends

6. Because he’s more interested in what you look like than who you are or who you hang out with….makes perfect sense.

7. He also doesn’t communicate with you in front of his friends

8. Apparently talking to you gives off the “wrong impression”

9. To every other girl that he’s hitting on simultaneously

10. So no one can know about your friendship

11. He only gets in touch with you if he feels like it

12. But he ignores you the rest of the time.

13. And he suddenly cares a lot more when he’s not sober.

14. Which brings me to the next point where he asks to Netflix and chill

15. Minus the Netflix.

16. And minus the chill.

17. Because he really wants to do neither of those things if you know what I mean.

18. He asks you to come over every time and doesn’t even consider making things easier for you.

19. And he doesn’t let you sleep over.

20. Because he needs “his space” and also feels uncomfortable waking up next to you

21. But then he doesn’t help you get back to your place

22. Or even say “bye”

23. You may just get a head nod if you’re lucky.

24. Because he’s so chill, he doesn’t have to put in any effort

25. And when you confront him about it, he tells you to “chill”

26. He can’t hold a a real conversation

27. Because he’s probably too lazy to even ask how you are doing

28. Because, again, that takes a lot of effort.

29. He’s on his phone the whole time you’re talking

30. But he won’t let you see who he is texting or what he is doing

31. So you know he’s probably hiding something from you

32. And if you want to do something fun, he always give some excuse.

33. His only idea of fun is drinking with you at night.

34. He even refuses to go out and would never actually “take you out” in a million years.

35. So, hopefully these reasons have persuaded you enough

36. To drop this tool and move on

37. Because you deserve to be treated so much better.

As much as it sucks to discover that the guy you’re seeing is a tool, try to not take it personally. It’s not you, it’s him and you’ll be much happier once you’re out of this frustrating situation.
