365 days of Inspiration Via Sawyer Hartman

Wonder. It's a marvelous feeling. Too often, we lose sight of our natural instinct to explore the wonders of the world. Therefore, those who remind us to do so are the most influential people in life. They make us question, travel, and seek out daily adventures. For me, there is a particular individual who makes me want to push the limits and break free of this constructed society we live in, and his name is Sawyer Hartman.

I do not know Sawyer personally, but rather I am inspired by his masterpiece. Sawyer Hartman is a YouTube vlogger. As anything in life, I can't promise you that you will enjoy his videos as much as I do, but it is worth a shot.

Sawyer's current project is filming a daily vlog for 365 days in a row. I look forward to his uploads every day. While many may argue that I am attempting to live through his adventure, I'd argue the opposite. I have been a subscriber to Sawyer's YouTube channel for many years now, but the daily vlogs really resparked my interest. He has the opportunity to travel often, so many of his daily vlogs are in places all over the world. For example, most recently, Bali. Not only does he capture all of the magnificent wonders of these locations, but he also truthfully discusses the reality of life with all of its grease and dirt.

The equipment he uses to shoot is impeccable. The videos are overwhelmingly beautiful. His shots are raw and real, often seeming more than two dimensional.

He is almost always sharing his vlogs with his girlfriend Angelique and his friends and family. They add so much to his stories, it is truly like hanging out with long lost friends.

The videos, being unscripted, are authentic. You get a glimpse of the day through another person's eyes. It makes you rethink if you were content with your day. His spontaneous personality brings unexpected twists and lessons. Even a video of a day at his home in L.A. will evoke some kind of emotion. Nothing is ever boring.

At times, he shares frustration over the lack of views on a particular video, and this makes me sad. His content quality is far better than many other YouTubers, and I do not think he receives the audience that he deserves. While many of his videos receive tens of thousands of views, they are worth more. That's why I am sharing his channel with you. Even if 20 people discover his work, it is worth writing for me.

Never in my life have I been more excited to create and travel this big world. My boyfriend and I discuss his content daily and are considering starting a YouTube page of our own. Anyone who can impact a life that much is worth the share. So go get inspired, consider subscribing.

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

If you’re anything like me, you love a good cup of coffee. My coffee always comes from Starbucks; I refuse to drink it from anywhere else. Over the years, it’s become one of my biggest addictions. College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate.
