Starting college means the start of a whole new set of vocabulary words, diction, and syntax. If you are just starting off college, you will definitley recognize these phrases:
- Thank god I have freedom now
- It feels so weird to not have parents telling me what to do
- Wait I don’t have a curfew anymore?
- This party is nothing like that highschool party I went to last week
- It’s even better
- Can I really survive living off of ramen and easy mac for 4 months?
- I bet I can
- I miss mom and dad’s cooking
- This dining hall food sucks
- Where is the chipotle around here?
- I’m running out of money so fast
- Mom.. Dad.. can you put more money in my account
- I don’t need a job, I won’t need that much money
- Wait just kidding, why is no one hiring now
- Well I guess I’m just going to take on the life of a broke college student earlier than I thought
- I can beat the freshman 15
- *alarm goes off* who needs an education anyway
- How have I already gained 20 pounds?
- Mom! I need healthy food again
- Where did this 10 hours of homework come from? I only have 2 hours of class a day
- Whatever, I can put it off till tomorrow anyway
- Where are the parties tonight?
- Thank god I have a normal roommate
- Who doesn’t keep half drank beers in their fridge?
- I don’t know how to adult
- This is 10 times better than high school
- I miss my dogs
- Can I bring my dogs to school?
- I’m going to be in debt till I’m at least 80
- Maybe I’ll drop out and become a stripper
- Just finished my fifth cup of coffee for the day, onto the next one
- How many more days till I get to see my best friend again?
- Mom I need more money!
- I still need a job, still too lazy to get one
- Maybe this degree will actually get me a job when I get out of here
