Some women in college expect the romance and the dinners out, things that we've seen only on TV. With each of the scenarios comes an underlying factor: we're all broke college students, that need ro realize to be happy with being S I N G L E. Why don't we say it together, "It's okay to want these things, but we CAN be happy without an SO"...for anyone who hasn't seen an episode of "Sex and the City," SO can also relate to Significant Other.

So, here are things to do without a significant other (live a little):

1. Spend the day at a museum

2. Watching an entire Netflix series

3. Having some retail therapy

4. Getting froyo with friends

5. Running errands

6. Getting a mani/pedi

7. Read a book

8. Re-read the Twilight Series

9. Watch the Twilight series (all 5 films)

10. Go see a movie

11. Go into a city for the day and explore

12. Spend the day in bed watching Real Housewives

13. Get dinner with friends

14. Go holiday shopping for family

15. Watch SNL every Saturday night

16. Taking a Victoria's Secret trip for a self-esteem booster

17. Take a hike

18. Travel to a Bed and Breakfast for a weekend

19. Taking a spa weekend

20. Bonding time with sorority sisters

21. Watching Legally Blonde and applying to Harvard (maybe?)

22. Taking a bike ride
