Personally, I consider 35 to be one of the most perfect times in ones' life. Being 35 is kinda like your peak performance and a high point. Here are 6 reasons why I think being 35 is cool af.

1. Peak performance

At this point in your life, you are likely finished with college/grad school/med school/whatever type of education you pursued. You are likely married and have your white picket fence family started as well! This is what peak performance looks like.

2. You can have a DOG. A DOG.

What more can I say. Being in college, while I love my beta fish, sharkbait, I really love dogs but I am not allowed to have one (even though I tried to sneak one in). When you're 35 you can have a dog. How can you not fall in love with that face?

3. You are officially a real adult

In college you're an "adult" and you do "adult" things but the bill still goes to your parents. At 35 your parents are starting to officially trust you and how they raised you because they are seeing the fruits of their labor. You may be paying your own bills now but you understand how banks work a it more.

4. You've likely found the one

At 35 you've probably found the guy who you'll love forever and who will love you forever. Meaning no more bad first dates.

5. You probably have kids

While your kids may absolutely terrify you sometimes, you can't imagine life without the little bundle of joy.

6. A real job, like a career

Now that you're 35, you probably have a career not just a job to get you to the next job. You likely enjoying going to work everyday rather then wondering what time you get to leave.

So appreciate your 30s because you're hitting some amazing milestones that you'll look back on when you're 60. These are some of the best times of you life!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
