Regardless of any happenings in our lives and the world around us, there are always opportunities to find happiness in the smallest of things. Here are 35 things that I like to think about when I want to change my mood around:

1. Chai tea
2. Warm blankets fresh out of the dryer
3. Michael Scott
4. The way a dog's tongue flops when they're running
5. Fresh morning air when camping in the mountains
6. Hay rides
7. The familiar smell of your parents
8. Run, jump, and wrap your legs around someone type of hugs
9. Blowing seeds off of a dandelion
10. Old Disney movies
11. Chick-fil-A Sauce
12. Going through old photo albums and scrapbooks
13. Hearing and smelling popcorn as it pops
14. Feeling your stomach drop on swings and roller coasters
15. Hot drinks on a cold day
16. Laughter that makes other people laugh
17. Hugging loved ones for the first time in a long time
18. Friends who text you to make sure you're home safe
19. Road trip playlists (Jesse McCartney included of course)
20. Freshly shaved legs
21. The way helium makes voices change
22. Sleeping on clean sheets
23. Holiday traditions with your family
24. 7-Eleven Slurpees
25. Farmer's Markets
26. Dogs in general. Really just everything about them.
27. Feeling your back crack
28. Fuzzy socks
29. Sleepy voices when someone has just woken up
30. Sunrises / Sunsets
31. The smell of fresh Christmas trees
32. Rolling out sore muscles
33. Genuine smiles that result in eye crinkles
34. Small coffee shops that are much better than chains
35. The way a baby's hand wraps around an adult finger

Regardless of what's going on in your life, make sure you take the time to notice small things around you and find happiness in every place possible. It makes a huge difference.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
