36 Thoughts You Have While Sitting on the Beach on Spring Break 2015

Let's be real for a second -- the only productive and healthy thing we will be doing on spring break is applying sunscreen once or twice a day in an effort to not get a sunburn. The rest of our time is going to be devoted to living the Georgia Southern way of life on whichever beach we find ourselves. Here are the thoughts that will run through all of our heads, at least once, while on break.

1. Do I know that guy?

2. I wonder if he sees me staring trying to figure out if I know him.

3. He looked this way!

4. Definitely not him.

5. Is it time for me to turn over yet?

6. This swimsuit was so worth the $60 I spent on it.

7. I wonder what my friends want to do for dinner.

8. Is there anything within walking distance?

9. We'll figure it out.

10. Should I get in the water or is it too cold?

11. Definitely too cold, but now I'm here and I don't want to get out.

12. Did I have any assignments I was supposed to do?

13. I'll do them when I'm back on Sunday.

14. I love this song! I wonder who added it to our group playlist!

15. I wonder what everyone else is doing for spring break.

16. I should do a throw what you know photo with the sunset.

17. Oh, wait... would that make me basic?

18. I'm so happy I went to that one Awesome Abs class last week.

19. I should work out so I have the perfect summer break bod.

20. I hope my parents aren't trying to get in touch with me!

21. Note to self: call them every morning this week before I head to the beach.

22. I'm so glad my little came on break with me!

23. I should make someone take tons of cute big/little photos of us in the water.

24. Did I bring any green for St. Patty's Day?

25. I hope I don't get pinched!

26. I bet at least one of the guys has a camo baseball hat I can steal.

27. Ew, but then I'll have hat hair.

28. Or beach hair -- don't care!

29. I really should figure out what we are doing for dinner.

30. Is it time for me to put on more sunscreen?

31. How often are you supposed to reapply?

32. I need another drink.

33. I hope we packed Tylenol.

34. I would be in Business Stat right now if we were at school.

35. That would suck.

36. Man, I am so glad I am on spring break.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
