32 Reasons Why Ryan Howard From "The Office" Is The Voice For All Millennials

Even though "The Office" aired its last season several years ago, we're still obsessed with the iconic character Ryan Howard. Ryan always knew what to say, was the most relatable, and brought so much humor to this epic show. Ryan is truly the voice for all millennials, and here is why!

1. Being too politically correct.

2. The inevitable mid-internship crisis.

3. Unpredictable weather can put a lot of pressure on fashion choices.

4. The sudden realization that you're not potential bae's number one option anymore.

5. When people ask you questions and you respond by asking, "Have you checked my status?"

6. Who isn't these days?

7. Like it or not, life is too short to not be blunt.

8. Using movie quotes to try to understand your love life.

9. Saying whatever the "cool thing" is to say, even though you personally can't relate to it.

10. Using social media as a manual for navigating life.

11. FOMO -- you know its bad, but you can't help but succumb to it anyway. Not in class, not with friends, there are really no exceptions to this disease.

12. Having the mindset that everyone will regret walking all over you, because one day, you're going to be bigger than Beyonce while all your haters are living out their days as overworked bartenders.

13. Exaggerating the truth to make your story sound more interesting and to gain sympathy.

14. Millennials be like...

Answer: texting back within the hour.

15. Having a major superiority complex.

16. Trying to justify your reasoning for liking someone that you know deep down sucks as a human.

17. You know your worth, and you make sure others do too.

18. Casual hookups are meant to be just that -- casual. Or else, all hell breaks loose, and no one has time for that.

19. Making subtle references on social media about your love life and hoping people will catch on and offer advice and/or sympathy.

20. The majority of young adults are weird, but weird is awesome so embrace it.

21. When the Instagram picture you spent 25 minutes editing gets fewer than 100+ likes.

22. The definition of modern relationship problems:

23. The struggles of an entry level position are more real than ever.

24. You can't help but feel popular when you're one of the thousands of people invited to a public Facebook event.

25. Its 2016, and being offensive is your worst nightmare.

26. Securing the WiFi password at any location is crucial.

27. You secretly love seeing your therapist, even though you make fun of therapy because that's the trendy thing to do.

29. Not even pretending to care about things you just don't care about.

30. More often than not, calling out toxic people becomes unavoidable.

31. When bae wants to be exclusive but all you want to be is young, wild, and free.

32. Wouldn't it be nice if procrastination and Netflix binging were full-time jobs?

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
