Summer break are two of the sweetest words to every college students ears. No more projects, papers, or reading assignments for a whole three months (holla)! It's time for much-needed relaxation that turns to pure boredom within the first week of being home and starting to count the days until you move back. It's fun being home with your family and friends, but you start to miss all things about college. Being home boredom is much different than college boredom. At college, you have dozens of people that are minutes away whenever you need them. At home, some of your friends don't come home for the summer, they're working so you're left with being entertained by your cat or dog. So instead of letting those summer boredom blues get you, here is a creative list to keep you occupied until you head back to school!
1. Go hang out with your high school friends.
2. Read a book.
3. Binge on Netflix shows.
4. Re-paint your room.
5. Play with your dog.
6. If you don't have a dog, go to a dog park and play with other people's dogs.
7. Paint your mom's nails.
8. Teach yourself a new language.
9. Or just watch a foreign film and call it good.
10. Try to teach your cat how to walk on a leash.
This is actually more challenging and time consuming than you would think.
