Regardless of how well you know the material, timed quizzes are always stressful and annoying. You can give me half an hour to take a five-question quiz that should only take two minutes, and I'll still hate it. Luckily, some professors know what's up and give us unlimited time. Here's how you can cause a nine-question, multiple choice quiz to take 220 minutes.

1. Watch "Arrested Development"

Clearly thinking about the answers while you watch Netflix will help.

2. Go get some snacks

3. Watch SNL skits

4. Watch Vine compilations

5. Take a spontaneous trip to Pulley

6. Ice cream break!

True commitment is when you eat the entire pint by yourself.

7. BuzzFeed quizzes

8. Shop online

9. Read the entire chapter twice *after* opening the quiz

10. Snack break part 3?

11. Browse workouts you'll never actually do on Pinterest

Can I just have the dogs, please?

12. Browse recipes you'll never make while you're at it

13. Plan the next big squad adventure

14. Build a pillow and blanket fort

Who cares if we're adults? Quality fort building knows no age.

15. Go on a hug tour and visit your friends

16. Make a cup of coffee or two

17. Listen to Seven Meter Sun rehearse

Listening to them is never not a good idea, though. Did anyone else go see them at Art After Dark?

18. Look at Tofu the Corgi on Instagram

19. Plan out the rest of your college career

Then you think about the incoming freshmen and all the time they'll have to make fun memories while you're nearing graduation and leaving your college town.

20. Chipotle is always a good idea

21. Take a walk around campus

22. Complete an escape room

23. Reorganize your photo display

24. Have a jam session in your room

25. Make a lit new Spotify playlist

Only the greatest music will be acceptable.

26. Attempt to learn a new language

27. Learn the Avatar theme in ASL

Yes, my friends and I are a bunch of nerds who are learning this.

28. Play a few rounds of Mario Kart

29. Pretend to adult and fix your LinkedIn

30. Go watch "Black Panther" in theaters

31. Do literally anything that is unrelated to the quiz

There are endless ways to procrastinate, but sometimes you just don't know where to start. I manage to find myself procrastinating on homework with work from other classes that is nowhere near due, but I also find myself at Starbucks pretty frequently. Nothing motivates better than a quality latte!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
