While we all love our beautiful and wonderful University of Alabama, there are a few questions that every student has more than likely wondered at one point or another. So, here is a list of 31 questions for the University that was founded in 1831.

1. Why was University Drive shut down during the middle of a semester?

2. Why isn’t there a cap on enrollment?

3. Why do students pay so much for parking?

4. Why can’t students park anywhere on campus if we are going to pay so much?

5. Why is the entrance to Lloyd always congested?

6. Actually, could the entrance to Lloyd be redone?

7. Why aren’t the bus waiting areas heated/cooled?

8. How come there aren’t more bottle refill stations?

9. How come the student section for in Bryant-Denny isn’t bigger?

10. Why do students have to pay for printing?

11. Why isn’t there a 24/7 coffee shop on campus?

12. Why does the Ferg close so early?

13. Why is there always construction work going on on campus?

14. Why does the Wi-Fi suck?

15. Would someone get free tuition if a bus hit him or her?

16. What will happen to the Walk of Champions when we win our next national championship?

17. Why weren't food trucks on campus years ago?

18. Why is Reese Phifer so confusing?

19. Where are the secret tunnels on campus?

20. Did someone really live in Gorgas for a year?

21. Why isn't the Bus Hub more central to campus?

22. Why is there a National Water System on campus?

23. Can you add another Dunkin Donuts on campus?

24. Why isn't Nick Saban president yet?


25. When will the train issue be addressed?

26. Why was/is there an asylum on campus?

27. Can Bill Nye come speak again?

28. If enrollment keeps going up, where will the extra thousands of students live?

30. Why is Tut being renovated when it is just going to be knocked down soon?

31. Lastly, and most importantly, can we bring Dixieland Delight back?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
