Over the summer, I went on a trip to Paris, France and London, England with my grandparents and mom to celebrate my high school graduation. I condensed the 1,349 pictures I took into my 31 favorite pictures that perfectly capture the beauty and history of these two places. I also threw in some food porn because, let's be real, food's a huge part of travel.

1. The Shard in London

2. The Eiffel Tower

3. Eiffel Tower Views

4. More Eiffel Tower Views (I would say I'm sorry but I'm not, there'll be more)

5. Champagne Toast (one of my personal favorites from the trip)

6. AMAZING Shepard's Pie from a restaurant in Paris

7. One of the Lions of Trafalgar Square in London

8. Just a pretty London street

9. London cappuccinos

10. The Tower Bridge in London

11. London near Buckingham Palace

12. Sunset in Trafalgar Square

13. Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

14. Arc de Triomphe

15. Champs Elysees sign

16. Another street but this time it's Paris

17. The Louvre

18. My amazing grandparents in front of the Eiffel Tower (they're actual relationship goals)

19. The Eiffel Tower lit up at night

20. The Seine River

21. An apartment building in Paris with flower boxes (this actually happens, I couldn't make this up)

22. A cafe sign (another one of my favorites & I couldn't tell you why)

23. Candles in the Notre Dame Cathedral

24. Stained glass in Notre Dame

25. Big Ben

26. Panorama from the rooftop bar of our hotel in Trafalgar Square in London

27. Westminster Abbey

28. Panorama from the London Eye

29. The most amazing chocolate mousse in Paris (I crave this daily)

30. The view from our hotel room in Paris

31. The moment I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time.

My grandpa promised me when I was three that he would take me to see the Eiffel Tower. I spent my whole life dreaming of what it would be like and the emotion on my face is obvious. THIS is my absolute favorite of all 1,349 pictures taken.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
