A time for those falling in love and those trying to fall out of it. - Megan Lawrence

They say those who stay up late in the night are in search for some kind of answers. While the whole world is asleep, there you are lying in your bed with your mind running non stop. It's as if there is no "off" button to get one good night sleep. You're letting that person tug at your heart. You're worried about what you lost. Or maybe that's not that case, maybe you're holding in the fear of what you could lose at any given minute. What ever is keeping you up tonight is on your mind because as John Green quoted, " it hurts because it matters." Now open your heart to what I'm about to tell you..

For those of you who are kept up because of a heartbreak, listen. Your poor little heart has been through enough pain. Reminiscing is no good for you if you are not yet over that situation. You are already in a dark state with losing someone who once meant the world to you. Dragging yourself backwards to what life used to be like isn't doing anything but hurting you.

I know that you are laying in bed right now with the lights off. The moonlight shining in through that little crack in your window. It's shining on an old picture that you have pressed up against your heart right now. Hoping that this sadness is only a nightmare painted as reality.

The pain that you are feeling is truly a beautiful thing. It proves that you have felt happiness in this life. That you were gifted enough to experience such a deep connection with another soul. Now, take that picture you keep hiding from everyone and let go of it. Let the wind carry it on or the ocean waves wash it away from you. You deserve happiness again. Now, make that happen for yourself with what you have in life now.

For those of you who are kept up because you are falling madly in love with someone new, listen. This is an exciting time in your life. You are doing what us humans do best, love. You are allowing someone a chance to prove to you what love should be like. Remember though, you will never love the same twice. Each time there will be different types of butterflies taking over your stomach. A different beat that your heart with race to when seeing that special someone. Every time, it's all going to be new for you.

It's natural for you to be laying in bed right now with the biggest smile on your face as you are texting your person. Neither of you are wanting to go to sleep because finally reality is better than your dreams. You don't even feel like you need any sleep right now in your life. Because when we sleep we use it as a time to get peacefulness in life. But you've found someone who makes you feel at peace, better than ever before. So why sleep again?

Besides feeling on cloud nine, I know deep down that you have worries too. You are worried that you may make the same mistakes as before or that this may turn out like your past. If you fall completely head over heals for someone, you have to learn to fall without spilling any turmoil from your past into this new relationship. You need to see that you are not your mistakes and neither is the person from you past that hurt you.

Mistakes were made but even more lessons were learned. Look where it got you to, this exact moment of falling in love. Worrying about what is not even happening in this present moment is distracting you from enjoying "the now." So stop the worrying and let yourself enjoy this happiness.

The night is made for people like you. You are the type that let the night take control over your emotions and have your mind run wild. The answers you've been looking for has been in plain sight all along. You just didn't dig deep enough to understand it. All the answers lie within yourself.

You have to believe that you are able to attract true love that's everlasting. That every page in your story book is a new chance to change things up. That every time you worry about things, minutes are taken away from you. Minutes that you lose and won't ever get back. So make them count. Be thankful for the hurt you are experiencing because it will only make you stronger. Or be thankful for the person who has found their way into your life and made you realize why the others never worked out.

"Stars can't shine without darkness."- unknown. So consider this part of you staying up at late hours in the night worrying as the darkness. Happiness is in the works for you. Trust the process. Now go get some good sleep. You have a long day tomorrow of fighting off those doubts and worries in your head. I believe in you. It's time for you to believe in yourself. Sweet dreams..

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
