The social aspects of college are all fun and games, but as we all know, the social aspect is only one part of it and there is only a limited amount of time we can allot to having fun. There is also the wonderful joy of schoolwork and with that comes the dreaded test week. Along with test week comes sleepless nights, overdoses of caffeine, and far too many hours spent in the library. After a week of 4 tests, 3 papers, and 2 quizzes or whatever your week may look like, it is absolutely necessary to take some time to relax once you conquer it all. So, here are some ways you can "treat yoself" at the end of hell week and get your weekend started on a high note.

  1. Take a nap.
  2. Push the rest of your schoolwork to the side.
  3. Netflix binge.
  4. Eat junk food. Lots of it
  5. Get yourself a bottle of wine.
  6. Get your nails done.
  7. Use a facemask.
  8. Watch a movie.
  9. Go for a mom walk.
  10. Go for a drive with no destination.
  11. Get a dozen of donuts. Or cupcakes. Or cookies. (something to aid your sweet tooth).
  12. Buy something new (shoes, shirt, jewelry, basically anything that will make you feel like a new person).
  13. Light a candle.
  14. Get crafty.
  15. Clean your room.
  16. Burn notes you no longer need.
  17. Get out of town for the weekend.
  18. Get your favorite kind of coffee.
  19. Go out on a picnic.
  20. Watch that movie you’ve been meaning to make time for.
  21. Get a massage.
  22. Or just a foot rub.
  23. Go to an animal shelter.
  24. Sit at the library and find some new books.
  25. Explore your city.
  26. Walk a dog (yours or someone else’s).
  27. Try a new recipe.
  28. Take time to journal.
  29. Get an entire pint of ice cream and eat it all.
  30. Sit around, do nothing, and enjoy it.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?

Theater Kids

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

You never know what's going to happen when you're dealing with theatre or what kind of characters you'll encounter. We have too much fun doing anything! One time in my senior year acting class, we spent an entire class period watching Bob's Burgers, and it was the greatest class period ever.
