Moving away to college can be hard for most young adults, but for college students who are also cat parents can have a whole different level of difficulty. Some cats can suffer from separation anxiety from their owners when they move away from college while some really just don't care. As a mother to a wonderful orange tabby girl, I would have those days where I would miss having a fluffy cat curl up next to me when I go to bed. My baby girl would spend a few days trying to find me during the first week of college, but then adapts to being loving to my dad. Thankfully once the school year ends, most students will come back home and get greeted by their fur baby, but what could go inside the mind of a cat when you come back? There are several things cats think about the moment they see you come back after college.

1. Did you get me a bird present if you've been gone for so long?
2. Are you here to finally pet me?
3. Do you want to see the gifts I saved you?
4. Did you put on or lose any weight?
5. I've never seen this human in my entire life!
6. Please don't run after me.
7. I'm as excited as you are coming back but I need my personal space.
8. Can I play in those boxes?
9. I smell food, is that for me?
10. Is that another cat I smell?
11. Did you pet any other cats while you were away?
12. It's cool that you're back but, can you feed me now?
13. Just tell me what was so special to that made you left for months?
14. You didn't even bother to get me a new friend?
15. I expected you to come back with Meow Mix.
16. I told the other cats in the neighbor that you were just at the store.
17. Did you really think I was going to wait for you by the door?
18. The human left the door open, maybe I should escape.
19. I'm judging your new fashion choices.
20. Why do you smell like bitter coffee beans?
21. Please tell me that bag is full of new cat food.
22. Does that mean I don't have to be affectionate to everyone else in the house anymore?
23. Thank goodness you're back, the dog keeps wanting to befriend me!
24. You disturbed my slumber with your return.
25. Good, my main servant has returned to their master.
26. You must be building me a condo with all of those boxes you have.
27. I'm probably not going to go near you until a few days later.
28. Now that you've return, can you please fill up my food bowl?
29. I'll stay up here and judge the little reunion going on with the family.
30. You know, despite everything, I kinda really do miss you.

No matter what cat breed you have, cats seem to always have a mind of their own and aren't fully dependent to humans. Additionally, cats have their own unique ways of expressing that they've missed you while you were away from college.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
